On the Chinese calendar the festival occurs on the 15th day of the 8th Chinese lunar month every year. During this day the moon is at its fullest and brightest of the whole year. Everyone gathers together eating moon cakes and appreciating the spectacular beauty of the full moon.
This year a group of ladies have formed a dance group to participate in the Festival of Culture on 29-10-2016, to represent Chinese culture. The Chinese association have been supporting the group with equipment and Beijing Restaurant have been providing their 1st floor as a practice room.
